The Role:

As part of our forward-thinking IT function, you’ll play a key role in supporting and developing IT services across the organisation. You’ll work closely with Service Managers, IT Business Partners and directorates to understand business needs, shape demand and help ensure services are delivered effectively.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration and problem solving, and is keen to grow into a Service Manager position over time.
What you’ll do:
- Support the development and delivery of IT services aligned to business needs
- Work alongside Service Managers and IT Business Partners to understand demand and identify opportunities for improvement
- Help coordinate requests, queries and service activity across the Service Management team
- Contribute to service governance activities, workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Build strong relationships across IT teams and with business stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement, helping refine processes and enhance service delivery
- Develop an understanding of IT suppliers, services and how they impact the organisation
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about service delivery and improving the customer experience
- A confident communicator, able to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- Curious and motivated to learn, with a willingness to develop into a Service Manager role
- Comfortable working across teams, balancing multiple priorities and adapting to change
- Proactive, organised and keen to contribute ideas and improvements
You might already have experience in service delivery, support, or coordination roles, or be looking for that next step into a more strategic Service Management position.
