The Role:
Hampshire County Council works with parents to ensure that no child is missing education. If parents are electively home educating, we offer the support of an Elective Home Education (EHE) Visitor to provide advice and guidance via home visits, video calls or phone calls and in writing.
The Inclusion Support Service is looking for people with strong interpersonal skills, IT skills and experience of delivering education. You will need knowledge and understanding of home education as well as school systems and practice to assess situations and provide advice on education provision.
You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire (and the Isle of Wight or other local authority), and it is essential that you have a current drivers’ licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
We can offer flexible working options for this role; it will be carried out remotely and requires travel throughout Hampshire.
