Salary Range:  Soulbury 8 to 11 plus up to 2 SPA points (£49,878 - £54166 per annum)

The Role:

An exciting opportunity to lead on improving the educational experiences and outcomes of children in care has arisen in the Hampshire Virtual School.


We are seeking an Education Adviser with Early Years experience to work in Hampshire within our well-established and highly regarded Virtual School Team. As a qualified teacher, you will use your skills, knowledge and expertise to be ambitious and aspirational for all our children and young people. You will work closely with local authority colleagues, schools, Early Years (PVI) education settings and carers to deliver high quality personal education plans, lead data analysis and ensure multi-agency working is collaborative and effective. 


As a qualified teacher with relevant senior leadership experience, you will use your skills, knowledge and expertise to be ambitious and aspirational for all our children and young people. You will ensure the needs of children are at the heart of your practice, leading on training, supporting and challenging colleagues and partners across schools, education and social care to ensure there is unwavering focus on the achievement, inclusion and success of all our children. 


You will be joining an outstanding Children’s Service which is committed and successful in meeting the needs of vulnerable children. You will have a wide range of opportunities to work closely with colleagues across the Education and Inclusion and Children and Families Branch.

This post is Fixed Term for one year due to DfE funding.  
 

Travel Requirements

 

You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire, and it is essential that you have a current drivers’ licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular
basis.
