The Role:
We are the in-house catering provider for Hampshire County Council’s head office in Winchester and are pleased to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Front of House Supervisor to join our professional and friendly team.
This role is primarily based within the coffee shop and plays an important part in supporting daily operations. You will help to create a welcoming environment while ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently.
What you’ll do:
You will be front-of-house coffee shop based, providing essential support throughout the day. This includes assisting with service and preparation, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring smooth service operations during busy periods.
You will work closely with the FOH team to deliver a high-quality customer experience and may also be required to support functions and VIP events. On occasion, you may need to work beyond your contracted hours to meet service demands, including covering annual leave and supporting evening or weekend events.
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for an individual with a positive, can-do attitude who is physically fit and able to work at a fast pace. You should have excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and polite manner. Being energetic, enthusiastic, and a strong team player is essential. Previous catering or hospitality experience would be an advantage.
