The Role:
We are the in-house Catering for Hampshire County Council's head office in Winchester.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Catering Assistant, based in Winchester.
We are a professional friendly team that work well together, you will be based on the coffee shop, providing crucial support within the FOH team, assisting with serving and preparation, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring smooth service operations. Playing a vital role in maintaining hygiene standards and supporting the FOH team in delivering quality food and service.
What you’ll do:
This is a great opportunity for an individual with a can-do attitude; you need to be physically fit to be able to work at a fast pace. We are looking for an individual to share our energy and passion who will contribute to our ongoing success.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, polite, and professional manner
- Energetic and enthusiastic team player
- Previous catering experience is an advantage
- Flexible approach to working hours, including:
- Occasional overtime to meet workload demands
- Covering annual leave for team members
- Supporting weekend, evening, VIP, and function events
