The Role:

Hampshire 2050 and the Children’s Services directorate are seeking an enthusiastic and committed person to join its Strategic Development Team. 

 

The Strategic Development Team is responsible for prioritising and managing capital investment across Children’s Services as part of the Children’s Services capital programme worth circa £242m over the next three years. The team delivers investment projects for Children & Families (such as Children’s Homes) and Education (Primary, Secondary and Special Schools).

 

As an Assistant Strategic Development Officer, you will also support the Strategic Development Team to fulfil the County Council’s statutory duty to ensure a sufficiency of school places. This work promotes the raising of standards and helps to improve the outcomes for all Hampshire children.
