Salary range: £25,628 - £28,326 pro rata, per annum (Actual Salary £15,376 - £16,995 per annum)

Work Location: Sir Harold Hillier Gardens, Romsey (Hybrid Working)

The Role:

Sir Harold Hillier Gardens (SHHG) is an esteemed arboretum sprawled across 180 acres, boasting a diverse collection of over 42,000 trees and shrubs. Notably, our collection includes a remarkable array of oaks, camellias, magnolias, and rhododendrons. Founded in 1977 by Sir Harold Hillier, the Gardens were established as a charitable trust, with Hampshire County Council assuming the role of sole trustee. The primary objective of the trust is to perpetuate Sir Harold's legacy by nurturing and enhancing the Gardens for the benefit of the people.


Over the last two decades, visitor numbers and memberships have increased significantly, leading to an expansion of our team to meet the changing needs of our visitors and to further develop our internationally renowned collection.


We are looking for a Digital Marketing Officer who can support the Marketing and Events Manager with the development and delivery of the our marketing, digital and social media strategy to promote the Gardens to wider and new audiences. You will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, analysing campaign performance, and collaborating with internal teams to drive marketing initiatives.


This role would suit a highly organised team player, with excellent written and verbal skills. The role holder will work mainly at the Gardens with some flexibility one day per week.  

 

Please note some weekend work will be required.
