Job Details:

Salary Range: £19,265 - £20,290 pro-rata, per annum plus enhancements for unsocial hours including Sundays and Double Time plus TOIL for Bank Holidays
Work Location: Clarence Unit, Gosport
Hours per week: Full & Part time (Day & Night shift opportunities available) 
Contract Type: Permanent

Hampshire County Councils’ Adults Health and Care provide a range of residential care and nursing services for older people across the county, some of whom are living with dementia. Clarence Unit is opening to support adults with complex health needs following their discharge from hospital.

No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. As a general guide, your duties may include:

 

  • Supporting individuals to maximise their independence with personal care
  • Assisting Individuals with medication
  • Encouraging individuals to carry out therapy plans 
  • Engaging with individuals around mealtimes to enhance and support their dining experience 
  • Accurate record keeping 
  • Undertaking activities such as entertainment and recreation to enhance the wellbeing of individuals
