Would you like to be part of team responsible for making a real difference to lives of vulnerable adults?

We have a range of opportunities that involve working with younger adults, people with learning disabilities or people with mental health challenges.

Working as a Caseworker you will be part of a supportive and friendly team working with other social/health care professionals to assess people in the community and provide them with support and guidance to enable them to maximise their wellbeing.

The service focuses on taking a strengths-based approach which looks to maximise what a person can do while also finding innovative alternative community resources to meet their needs. We are looking for people with excellent communication skills who can build and maintain positive relationships with their colleagues, the people who use our services and the people in their communities who can provide additional support.

Ideally you will have some experience of assessing and supporting individuals in a social care setting, but this is not essential because we recruit for attitudes and values, specifically people who:

  • demonstrate a person centred and strengths-based approach that empowers service users and carers to live independent lives.
  • manage and embrace change whilst maintaining their wellbeing and resilience.
  • take personal responsibility and pride in their work, actions, and their own development; and acknowledge individual and shared accountability.
