Salary Range: £25,186 - £26,244 pro-rata, per annum (actual salary £21,601 - £22,509 per annum)

Work Location: Dame Mary Fagan House, Basingstoke (Hybrid Working)

Hours per week: 37 

Contract Type: Temporary until 25 March 2027 (with a possibility of extension, term-time only)

Closing Date: 31 May 2026

The Role:

We are looking for a motivated Senior Administrative Assistant with experience of working with people from diverse language and cultural backgrounds, to carry out a wide range of administrative functions. 

The role is currently based at Dame Mary Fagan House; however, the team will be relocating to Basingstoke Discovery Centre later in the summer (exact date to be confirmed).

What you’ll do:

Highly motivated, you will have the ability to work under pressure, approaching tasks with confidence and clarity. You will use your own initiative to ensure tasks are carried out in the most appropriate way and in keeping with EMTAS and Hampshire County Council policies and protocols. You will be proactive and flexible in your approach and have the ability to work as part of a team, supporting the wider needs of the Service.

What we’re looking for:

You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have previous IT experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
