Join Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary and play a vital role in keeping our fleet moving. This is more than a stores role; it’s about directly supporting front-line policing by managing essential stock, coordinating logistics, and helping maintain the efficiency of our transport services.
If you enjoy hands on work, like solving problems, and want a role where your attention to detail has a real impact on public safety, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful difference. You’ll work with a dedicated workshop team, gain experience using our fleet management systems, and support a service that helps keep our communities safe.
About The Role.
- Receiving, unloading, checking, and stocking delivered parts and equipment
- Issuing stock and components to workshop technicians as required
- Raising orders and processing transactions using the Fleet Management System
- Using electronic parts catalogues (EPCs) to identify correct parts and pricing
- Preparing and issuing equipment for new build police vehicles
- Maintaining accurate stock levels, carrying out regular stock taking, and ensuring stores areas remain tidy, organised, and safe
- Assisting with supplier queries and internal customer service needs
- Supporting invoice processing through the Fleet Management System and SAP
- Helping with occasional deliveries, collections, or vehicle movement as required.
