About the role

As an Intelligence Researcher, you will support the identification of vulnerable and high risk people and groups as well as potential crime series’. Your part will be to respond to requests for research assistance from the Analysts and Intelligence officers that you work alongside, as well as other stakeholders in the wider organisation, by collating, reviewing, evaluating and then disseminating information from a variety of sources.

You will be looking for trends in daily crime, incidents and intelligence to support the district-level responses to any issues that have the potential to cause harm, and for opportunities to safeguard and protect potential victims. Once you have identified any patterns, you will then produce maps and information summaries to support local and (if needed) force wide operations.
