We aim to provide a supportive and dynamic working environment, where staff and officers can achieve their full potential, have a healthy work-life balance and feel valued for what they do.

About the role

Our in-house recruitment team plays an important part in ensuring Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary continues to deliver an outstanding police service to our communities. This is an exciting time to join our evolving team while we embed several key roles that will shape how we attract future talent across the organisation.

You will play a key role in influencing marketing and engagement decisions, ensuring appropriate and timely action is taken in relation to the force’s resourcing needs.

Our people are at the forefront of the constabulary’s vision and we are looking for flexible and committed individuals to join our team. While the role is contractually based at HIOWC’s Strategic Headquarters in Eastleigh, hybrid working will be available to those joining the team. Applicants must also be aware that, depending on activity, there may be a requirement to travel to policing sites within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

You will need to be educated to QCF Level 6 or have comparable work experience in a recruitment or similar role. You will have experience of leading a team and be able to make effective business decisions while balancing deadlines and competing priorities.
