Salary range: Green Book Grade 6 - £19,945 - £22,021 pro-rata, per annum
Work location: The Ormerod Resource Base, The Marlborough School, Woodstock
Hours per week: 32.5 - t
erm time only (39 weeks per academic year)        

Contract type: Permanent

A skilled Teaching Assistant with a calm, encouraging and positive manner is required to work with students attending the SENSS Ormerod Resource Base at The Marlborough School in Woodstock.

About us


The Ormerod Resource Base provides a range of support and guidance to students with physical difficulties, and students with communication and interaction difficulties (which includes those on the autistic spectrum) who are on school roll.


About the role


Working closely with the specialist teacher and school staff to improve outcomes, your aim will be to enable access to the curriculum and to facilitate full inclusion for the students with special educational needs and disability with whom you work. Previous experience is desirable, but training will be given.


About you


The ability to work positively as part of a team and to communicate sensitively and appropriately with children, parents and colleagues is essential.


You must have experience of working with children and hold GCSE Maths and English grade A* to C (or equivalent). Good spoken and written English language skills are essential.
