Salary range: £20,852 - £23,023 per annum

Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working 

Contract type: Permanent

We are looking for an experienced support worker to work within our service. This role requires supporting adults living with a learning disability, mental health diagnosis, dementia diagnosis, physical disability, and ageing need.




About us


Wantage and Wallingford Community Support Services offer daytime support and respite to adults with an eligible need for a variety of reasons. We are a fast paced and friendly service offering activities both in the service and in the wider community. We will provide you with a full induction, many training opportunities, and a chance to utilise your strengths and bring them to life in the workplace.



About the role


These are full-time posts, Monday – Friday, based in Wantage and Wallingford, with flexible working hours covering mornings, afternoons and evenings. The role is driving-essential and also requires moving and handling, personal care, assisting with medication; full training will be provided for these. 



About you


Preferable past experience in the care industry with a variety of communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, and a willingness to enhance or maintain these. The person we are looking for will be caring, driven, enthusiastic and will go the extra mile for the people we support.
