Salary range: £30,507 - £32,878 per annum
Work location: County Hall, Oxford
Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working
Contract type: Permanent

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the best performing counties in the country for recycling and diversion from landfill. 

About Us:

You will be part of the Waste Contract team, responsible for the management of Oxfordshire’s waste disposal contracts including energy from waste, transfer stations, anaerobic digestion, street sweeping processing, composting, closed landfills and household waste recycling centres. This includes all elements of procurement, performance and financial management to ensure a reliable and cost-effective service to all stakeholders. Regular liaison with city and district council partners is crucial to providing a smooth service.

About the Role:

This is a key post in the team responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of waste management contracts and services and adherence to council policies and procedures. 

About You:

The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of waste contracts, excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills and be a team player.
