Salary range: £38,890 - £41,881 pro-rata, per annum (£31,532.04 - £33,957.12 part-time)

Work location: County Hall, Oxford

Hours per week: two positions: 37hrs & 30hrs - please specify which position you are applying for

Contract type: Permanent

Interview date: Thursday 25th & Friday 26th March 2021 (includes an assessment)

About the role

 

At Oxfordshire County Council we take pride in our services.  And in putting things right.  So we're looking for two senior complaints officers to join our Complaints Team.  Proven analytical abilities are essential, together with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.  You will be taking personal responsibility for a range of adult and children's social care cases.   You will also be expected to provide advice to the Council on social care and non-social care complaints and their resolution to ensure we follow law, policy and good governance.

 

 

About you

 

You will be able to provide constructive challenge to the Council's senior managers and have the personal and professional resilience to deal with complaints on a daily basis.   As part of a small professional team you will need to be self-motivated and organised.  You will be adaptable and bring positive ideas for improvement and help us/the Council learn from complaints.
