About us


The Oxfordshire Pension Fund is responsible for the pension arrangements of over 70,000 scheme members, and is currently working with over 150 scheme employers.  The Fund invests over £3.3bn, largely through the Brunel Pension Partnership, a pooled arrangement with 9 other Local Government Pension Funds.  The service is managed by the Pension Fund Committee as overseen by the Local Pension Board, through the Administration and Investment Teams and the newly formed Governance and Communication Team, supported by a number of independent external advisers. 



About the role


This is a new position to head up a small team to develop the governance and communications arrangements for the Oxfordshire Pension Fund, reflecting the increased scrutiny of governance arrangements by the Scheme Advisory Board and the Pension Regulator.  


You will work closely with the Head of Pensions as well as the Administration and Investment Teams, Scheme Employers and Members, and Members of the Pension Fund Committee.



About you


You need to be  well organised with excellent communication skills, and a minimum 3 years experience working within the LGPS.
