Salary range: £27,741 – £30,451 per annum

Work location: The Leys Children and Family Centre, Oxford

Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working

Contract type: Permanent

Family Solutions Plus in The Leys, Oxford is looking to appoint a full time Family Support Worker within the Early Help Team

 

 

About us

 

The Leys Children and Family Centre Early Help team is part of the Family Solutions Plus team that is based in Leys and Cowley area. We work alongside our colleagues in the Statutory team supporting families. We strive to be a very positive, supportive, forward looking and flexible team.

 

 

About the role

 

You will provide timely case work support and interventions to vulnerable children (aged 0 – 18) and their families, addressing safeguarding concerns and reducing risks to children and young people who meet our threshold for service. You will also support the delivery of targeted group work programmes.

 

 

About you

 

You will be highly motivated, experienced in working to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, able to work under pressure and have an awareness of personal safety and risk. You will also have good organizational and communication skills, and an ability to write concise and factual records. You will be required to work flexibly and to undertake some work outside of normal working hours. You should have the ability to travel to and access a variety of premises, and safely transport children and families to venues across the county.
