Salary range: £24,313 - £26,999 per annum

Work location: Oxford Register Office (plus Registration Offices across Oxfordshire as required)

Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working

Contract type: Permanent

About Us:

 

The Oxfordshire Registration Service handles the registration and ceremonies for the most important moments of people's lives, at the Register Office in Oxford and at other approved premises throughout the County.

 

About the Role:

 

As a Deputy Registrar, you will be registering births, stillbirths, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships; dealing with members of the public in a sensitive but professional manner at all times.

 

In additional to celebratory duties, you will also take on the associated administrative and financial duties.

 

About You:

 

You will need to enjoy meeting the public, inspiring confidence and delivering exceptional customer service.

 

You will be well organised with excellent ICT skills, possess integrity and sensitivity and have a flexible, 'can-do' attitude.
