Salary: £19,945 – 22,021 per annum, pro-rata

Work location: Knights Court, Oxford and The Courtyard Centre, Bicester

Hours per week: 37 hrs per week (Oxford), 22 hours per week (Bicester) – we are open to discussions about flexible working

About Us:

 

As an Administrator with Adult Social Care teams based in Oxford and Bicester you will be undertaking a variety of interesting administration tasks to deliver customer focused services which improve the lives of people supported by the teams. 

 

Your role will be crucial in supporting teams to provide constant and consistent services to people using Adult Social Care.

About the role:

 

Some of your duties will be:

 

  • Dealing with incoming phone calls from clients and professionals
  • Managing the team mailboxes; responding promptly to enquiries from external and internal customers
  • Updating and maintaining electronic database with due regard to security and confidentiality
  • Processing transport requests for service users
  • Taking minutes
  • Providing general administrative support to our Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Co-ordinators (booking rooms, ordering stationery and other)
  • Providing cover for other Admin teams during periods of annual leave and absence from the office
About you:

 

We are looking for someone who is organised, pays attention to detail, can work calmly and efficiently under pressure and has good ICT skills.

 

You will need to able to work well as part of a team.

 

You must be a good communicator with a customer-focused approach and have previous experience in working in an administrative environment. You will need to handle sensitive and confidential information whilst remaining empathetic to the needs of service user.
