Salary range: £19,945 - £22,021 pro-rata, per annum
Work location: Knights Court / Cowley Police Station
Hours per week: Two roles available - 18.5 and 37 
Contract type: Permanent

About Us:


Our Children Services Administration Officer Roles are based in a number of small, supportive teams. These fast paced jobs are crucial to enable the Children Social Care teams working effectively and delivering outstanding services to our customers. Our teams work co-operatively to provide efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support to staff based in Specialist Directorate Teams. We proactively liaise with colleagues to provide constant and consistent services, streamline practices, provide cross-service cover and help prevent excessive workload peaks. 


About the Role:


In the Administration Officer (Support) role, you will be supporting Social Workers who work with families and young people within our community.
We have a dedicated training and induction plan where we will develop your knowledge, skills and expertise in all administrative areas. 
We will also develop your knowledge, skills and expertise in a number of ways, which will become the main focus of your role.

We have 2 roles available; part-time (18.5 hours per week) and full-time (37 hours per week). Please make sure you state your preference on your application.


About You:


To be successful in this role, you will be someone with excellent communication skills, who thrives on working in a team environment. Whilst prior experience of working in a Social Care environment is not essential, you should be able to demonstrate experience of providing administrative support in a busy, customer-focused team. Good ICT skills are essential and you must be comfortable with using Microsoft Office applications. Experience in using database systems would also be highly valued.
