Team Manager (Looked After Children and Leaving Care) OCC25202

Salary range: £49,522 - £52,492 pro-rata, per annum

Work location: Samuelson House, Banbury

Hours per week: 30 - we are open to discussions about flexible working 

Contract type: Permanent

Closing date: Friday 12th June 2020

Interview date: Week commencing Monday 22nd June 2020

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager for a Looked After Children and Leaving Care Team in North Oxfordshire.

 

 

About Us and About the Role

 

We are looking for an experienced Team Manger and Leader to take responsibility for ensuring effective delivery and continuous improvement of services to children, young people and their families in the area.

 

In the role, you will lead the team through a period of change and ensure that services are planned and delivered in a way that maximises participation and reflects children's rights and good outcomes.

 

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you need to have strong evidence based social work principles and a proven track record for supporting, supervising and developing social work practice. You will demonstrate your commitment to working with children and their families to support the best possible outcomes and permanence. We will also need your commitment to effectively engaging with internal, external and partner agencies to carry out statutory duties policy and procedures. 

 

In addition, we require:

 

  • Recognised Social Work qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Management qualification or similar is desirable
  • Commitment to continuous personal and staff development

 

Please note this is an Essential car user post with the ability to travel in/out of County as required.
