Salary range: £28,226 per annum
Work location: Abbey House, Abingdon (Work from home 3 days per week)
Hours per week: 37 – we are open to discussions about flexible working
Contract type: Permanent

About us


The ASC Income Team is a small friendly team within Finance responsible for the management of Adult Social Care's billing and income recovery.



About the role


This is a varied role and your main duties would include:


  • Managing a high volume of debt cases, deciding on appropriate action and following through to completion
  • Preparing reports for cases to be written off or referred to legal
  • Working closely with supervisor and fellow recovery officers to discuss priority high value cases on a regular basis and bring these to conclusion



About you


You should have experience of working in a similar finance role and have a proven ability to meet deadlines and targets. You will need to be able to:


  • Be adaptable and flexible and maintain personal resilience in response to competing priorities
  • Manage your own workload and be able to self-motivate
  • Work efficiently whilst maintaining accuracy
