Job Details:

Salary Range: £33,653 - £37,876 per annum
Work Location: The Castle, Winchester (remote working available)
Hours per week: 37
Contract Type: Temporary (12 months)
Closing Date: 25 October 2021

The Role:


As part of our software development team, you will support services and deliver technical resource in order to enable the initiatives and business of the broader County Council and its Partners. 


Working as an IT Consultant to design, develop, implement and support applications including the corporate Web Content Management System. Using Microsoft and web technologies including the .Net framework, SQL Server alongside HTML, JavaScript and other common web technologies utilising Azure DevOps within an agile environment.


You will:

  • Write well designed, testable and efficient code
  • Carry out code reviews
  • Run build and deployment processes
  • Adhere to current standards and policies


An effective communicator, you will have experience of working as part of a project team, delivering solutions on time and within budget. You will also have in-depth knowledge of core web development skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/XML/Json).
