Are you an experienced Economic Development professional looking for an exciting new challenge?

Hampshire County Council's new Economy and Skills Team is seeking a highly motivated individual who will play a significant role in the delivery of our business support service (The Hampshire Growth Hub) and other business activities to boost economic prosperity across Hampshire.

 

As our Strategic Growth Officer, you will assist in shaping the delivery and future development of the Growth Hub including business development and event activities to help support generating new leads for the team. The role will involve building relationships with a wide range of private and public sector organisations and commercial partners at a local, regional, and national level to realise Hampshire's economic vision. 

 

Working alongside the Strategic Growth Manager, you will support the delivery of a highly effective programme of business advice which reflects the up to date needs of SME businesses which will positively impact their resilience and growth. You will also play a role in helping to encourage collaboration activity and sharing of best practice in the South-Central Growth Hub Cluster.

 

In this role you will be expected to produce regular reports on the performance of the Growth Hub and help track progress against targets and other key performance indicators and to help organise and participate in a busy events programme, so experience of reporting writing, project monitoring and event administration is essential.
