Job Details:

Salary Range: £41,562- £46,776 per annum
Work Location: Elizabeth II Court, Winchester
Hours per week: 37
Contract type: Permanent

The Role:

Hampshire County Council provides high quality public service to over one million residents in Hampshire. The County Council is already on an exciting journey to transform public services as part of our Digital Strategy and the IT team is a key enabler for this. Simply put, the County Council’s IT team do great things with applications, development and integration tools to support the organisation, our aims and objectives.


To achieve this we require a Senior .NET Developer with a passion for developing, improving, maintaining and supporting applications, capable of learning and adapting to a range of technologies in order to support existing systems and enable the development of new solutions on our new Digital Platform; all to ensure the continued delivery of high quality County Council services.


About you

You will have proven experience in:

Developing with ASP.Net, including MVC and C#
Integration via REST services
Web application hosting on Windows Server / IIS
Object-orientated programming techniques
Working with continuous integration and release management
