Salary Range: £41,562 - £46,776 per annum
Work Location: Castle Avenue, Winchester
Hours per week: 37
Contract Type: Permanent

Hampshire County Council has an extensive portfolio of properties including schools, care homes, libraries, countryside estate and supports external clients such as Police and Hampshire Fire and Rescue.

We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Building Surveyors to manage the delivery of programmes of work and  design and facilitate planned building improvements/extensions and repairs and supervise works on site to a range of public buildings.    

You will also be a confident communicator undertaking a lead client liaison role for a portfolio of properties and provide advice on building related matters and respond to building defects/ identified faults/emergency situations and organise remedial solutions to the built estate on behalf of the County Council, ensuring that buildings and sites are safe to occupy and remain open to maintain essential services.

Vetting Requirements:

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check and may be subject to Non Police Personnel Vetting for those doing work on the Police Estate. Further information about this process will be provided to successful candidates. Candidates must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years in order for clearance to be obtained.
