The Mental Health (MH) service is looking for a dynamic, flexible and motivated person to support the Mental Health and Substance Misuse Intermediate Care Team (ICT) that will also support the County wide virtual business support team.


MH services help people with mental health conditions and substance misuse issues, as well as their families and carers. The service assesses people's needs and if they are eligible for help from HCC, develop individual support plans. The service supports everyone to be as independent as possible whilst making sure they are safeguarded from harm.


This is a full-time permanent position based in the ICT. The position will be supporting teams of social care practitioners, in an administrative capacity to enable the effective and timely delivery of services to service users, colleagues and other stakeholders (e.g. NHS partners or care and support providers).

 

These are vital roles for the services. They provide post holders with varied and rewarding tasks through opportunities to make a positive impact on colleagues and vulnerable Hampshire residents. Work activities will be varied and will include:

 

  • Reception duties - receiving and recording contacts (e.g. by phone) from a variety of people, including service users, their relatives, care agencies/homes, or health professionals and greeting visitors
  • Updating systems’ records
  • Inputting data from forms
  • Preparing letters
  • Scheduling and supporting meetings, including pre- and post-meeting work

 

We're looking for a skilled, organised and enthusiastic administrator with a ‘flexible and can do’ attitude to work to support busy teams.
