Salary Range: £26,544 - £29,583 per annum

Hampshire County Council has an extensive portfolio of properties including schools, care homes, libraries, countryside estate and supports external clients such as Police and Hampshire Fire and Rescue.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated Graduate Building Surveyors who are looking for experience to gain their Chartership, to join our teams. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in liaising with clients and designing and facilitate planned building improvements/extensions and repairs and supervise works on site to a range of public buildings. You will also have the opportunity to identify and deal with building defects and undertake surveys in all cases with support from colleagues. 

We have many qualified surveyors who have experience of supporting candidates through the RICS APC progress. You will initially be assisting on projects and surveys with opportunity to undertake own projects as skills and experience develop.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check and may be subject to Non Police Personnel Vetting for those doing work on the Police Estate. Further information about this process will be provided to successful candidates. Candidates must have resided in the UK for a minimum of 3 years in order for clearance to be obtained.
