We are Looking for a Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Developer

The role 

We are looking for experienced Developers for our Robotics Process Automation programme. You will be working within a development team and you will be responsible for turning Automation Anywhere solution designs into fully developed and tested robots.  This is for a two year fixed term contract with a possible extension.

Job Purpose:

This role is to join the Development and Applications team to help deliver new technologies, support and maintenance of existing applications to agreed service levels.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in existing process and automate the process using Automation Anywhere software.
  • Fine tune performance and operation issues that arise with Bots.
  • Assist and eventually lead on design (including scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping,), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations.  
  • Identify opportunities where AI could be utilised.
  • Provide on-going operational support including upgrades, defect fixes and any Process change activities.
  • As an RPA Developer you will be responsible for development, testing and implementation of Automation Anywhere bot’s that will interact with multiple third party applications.  
  • Work closely with the technical lead, Solutions Architect and Artificial Intelligence project team. 
  • This role will become involved in AI chat bot implementation and configuration for the right candidate.

Role Requirements:

  • Previous experience in RPA development (experience in Automation Anywhere is desirable, but not essential)
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in existing process and automate the process using Automation Anywhere software.  
  • Able to identify business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations.  
  • Ability to motivate and inspire other RPA developers within the team. 
  • Be prepared to challenge timeframes and approach if a more efficient/technically beneficial approach to automation can be identified. 
  • Knowledge and developer experience of AI chat bot implementation and configuration would be desirable but not necessary.
