Salary range: £18,933 - £19,941 pro rata, per annum 
Work location: Westholme, Winchester
Hours per week: Full & Part time (Day & Night shift opportunities available) 
Contract type: Permanent

Westholme has an opportunity for a Care Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. We provide Nursing and Residential care and support to the elderly and vulnerable, so to succeed in this role you will have an empathy with the needs of older people and understand the importance of treating them with dignity and respect.

Westholme is a nursing and residential home on the outskirts of Winchester, the home is within easy reach of the train station and is on the local bus route with local shops nearby.

No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. As a general guide, your duties may include: 

•    Supporting individuals with personal care
•    Support with hydration and nutrition
•    Moving and positioning
•    Accurate record keeping 
•    Undertaking activities such as entertainment and recreation to enhance the wellbeing of individuals
•    Supporting Individuals with medication

Full COVID-19 vaccination status will be required as a condition of employment. Recent legislation now mandates that anyone working in a CQC registered care home, which includes all regulated services in HCC Care,  and those visiting in a professional capacity, must be fully vaccinated (MHRA approved) by 11 November 2021
