Salary Range: £19,265 - £20,290 pro-rata, per annum (actual salary £10,934 - £11,516 per annum)

The Role:

Green Meadows is a residential home for older adults on the outskirts of Denmead, a rural village of Hampshire. We currently have a part time opportunity available for a Chef to join our friendly team.

As a Chef, you’ll prepare well balanced nutritional meals for a range of service users with unique dietary requirements and maintain excellent standards of hygiene and safety. You will be responsible for controlling the catering budget, ordering food stock and planning menus in partnership with the Unit Manager and care providers. You will serve and assist our residents with their meals. Interact with residents, showing empathy and an understanding of their needs. You will play a key role in providing a caring and homely environment.

Ideally you will hold a level 2 certificate in food safety, but this qualification can be made available to the right candidate.
