Salary Range: £33,653 - £37,876 per annum plus weekend enhancements
Hours per week: Full and Part-time positions available 
Work Location: Hampshire - Countywide 
Contract: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity available within Adults’ Health & Care Reablement Service. We are seeking highly skilled, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Occupational Therapists to join our service.


About the role:

We are continually enhancing our service and now have exciting opportunities available within Adults’ Health & Care Reablement for highly skilled, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Occupational Therapists to join us.
 

We are passionate about working in collaborative partnership with organisations across Health and Social care in maximising independence, preventing hospital admissions, and facilitating rapid discharge from hospital to improve outcomes for the people of Hampshire.
 

Occupational Therapy principals underpin our service, and we are continually seeking opportunities to enhance delivery. Personal development for all staff is a priority, having a structured workforce development plan in place whereby we actively encourage and support continuing professional development, including formal qualification routes.
 

We have an exciting new approach to enhanced and sustainable moving and handling with vulnerable adults by using innovative collaborative technology (Cobot), equipment, techniques, and training. As a qualified Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for leading holistic assessments of Reablement needs and planning Reablement interventions to support across a multi-disciplinary team and have opportunity to support service development and innovation.
 

There may also be opportunities to work across Hampshire as part of a county wide Reablement Service comprising Occupational Therapy, Sensory Services and CQC Registered Community Response Staff.

Full COVID-19 vaccination status will be required as a condition of employment.

Recent legislation now mandates that anyone working in a CQC registered care home, which includes all regulated services

in HCC Care,  and those visiting in a professional capacity, must be fully vaccinated (MHRA approved) by 11 November 2021.

  • North Hub - Basingstoke covering Alton, Aldershot, Liphook, Whitchurch, Bordon, Farnborough
  • South Hub - Fareham covering Gosport, Havant, Petersfield, Horndean, Emsworth, Hayling Island, Porchester, Salisbury Green.
  • West Hub - Totton covering New Forest, North Baddesley, Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford
  • Mid Hants Hub - Winchester covering Bishops Waltham, Andover, Romsey, Hedge End, West End
