Salary Range: £41,562 - £46,776 per annum

Join our dynamic and innovative Adopt South team and make a positive difference for children and families across the South of Hampshire

 

As part of your role, you will manage Adopt South’s adoption panels, support Adopt South’s Panel Chairs, Members and Team Managers, and provide professional social work expertise when required.

 

You will also work together with the Panel Co-ordinator and Panel Administrators to ensure our frontline teams can deliver the very best service and provide young people and children with opportunities to thrive and flourish.

 

An experienced social worker registered with Social Work England, you will have significant knowledge of adoption services and processes. You will also be an effective communicator with a high standard of interpersonal skills and ability to deal with a wide range of people. It is also important that you demonstrate awareness and understanding of equal opportunities and other people’s physical and social needs.

About Us:

 

Adopt South is a regional adoption agency, which launched in April 2019. The agency is formed through the partnership between Hampshire County Council, Isle of Wight Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council, with support from voluntary adoption agencies, Adoption UK, Barnardo’s and PACT. Adopt South aims to deliver the best possible outcomes for children and families, placing approximately 120 - 140 children each year, with over 60 panels a year.
