Job Details:

Salary Range: £9.81 - £10.34 per hour plus holiday pay, (salary dependant on experience)
Work Location: Malmesbury Lawn, Havant
Hours per week: Various
Contract Type: Casual

We are now seeking a compassionate Chef who would like to make a real difference in their community by providing a quality catering service for our home.


As a Chef, you’ll prepare well balanced nutritional meals for a range of service users with unique dietary requirements and maintain excellent standards of hygiene and safety. You will be responsible for controlling the catering budget, ordering food stock and planning menus in partnership with the Unit Manager and care providers. You will serve and assist our residents with their meals. Interact with residents, showing empathy and an understanding of their needs. You will play a key role in providing a caring and homely environment.

 

Malmesbury Lawn is a residential dementia care home in Havant, recognised as a leader in dementia care, the home has won a Health and Social Care Dignity in Care Award and an International Dementia Excellence Award.


Ideally you will hold a level 2 certificate in food safety, but this qualification can be made available to the right candidate.
