Salary Range: £18,933 - £19,941 per annum
Work Location: : Parkway, 94-96 Wickham Road, Fareham
Hours per week: Full and Part Time Hours available

Reablement - Business Support Opportunities

Due to the expansion of our Business Support Team we can offer great opportunities in the Reablement Service based in our Fareham Hub.

We have several vacancies for full, part-time, and temporary positions!

Joining our friendly Business Support Team working across 7 days, you will be providing support to our Occupational Therapists, Sensory Officers and Community Response Practitioners who collectively make up the Reablement Service in the South of Hampshire.  

 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Triage Function – managing telephone call coming into the office
•    Managing bespoke Databases 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office 0365 – Outlook, Excel, and Word etc

Job Purpose:

To develop and implement a comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative support service to meet business requirements.

Role Responsibilities:
  • To contribute to the delivery of effective and efficient services to departments of the County Council, partners and/or other external organisations.
  • Assess customer requirements and use a range of manual and electronic systems to provide accurate information and reports within agreed timescales.
  • Make routine changes to internal systems and procedures in response to customer requirements and promote awareness within the team to maintain standards of service.
  • Respond to routine enquiries, both orally and in writing, on behalf of the department and the organisation where appropriate.  Carry out research and refer more complex enquiries to an appropriate manager with background briefing.
  • Establish and use networks of contacts, mostly internal within the County Council, to provide appropriate information and interpretation of systems, policies and procedures.
  • Where appropriate, carry out a supervisory role, allocating and prioritising work for junior staff and providing information for performance management and development.
  • Control resources and implement company wide procedures within budgetary delegation.
Role Requirements:
  • Good standard of education including GCSE or equivalent grades A-C in Maths and English.
  • Effective communication skills both written and oral.
  • Good keyboard skills and computer literate in a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Significant experience of working in a customer focussed environment and being part of a team.
  • Ability to carry out research and refer more complex enquiries to an appropriate manager with background briefing.
  • Able to work without close supervision.
