Transforming Lives

The nurses on the front line of Hampshire County Councils Adults Health and Care service do so much more than care, they transform lives. Our nurses are caregivers, advocates and true heroes of healthcare.

We are currently offering opportunities for passionate and dedicated nurses to join the team at Fleming House, a nursing home situated on the outskirts of Eastleigh. We encourage residents to be as independent as possible to enhance their quality of life and ensure a sense of wellbeing and fulfilment.

The service was recently rated as good in safety, effectiveness, care, responsiveness and well led by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Surrounded by a well-resourced multi-disciplinary team, you will be fully supported in your determination to provide the highest quality care to our services users.

What you'll do:

We deliver a broad range of healthcare services to older people with mental and physical health needs, offering long term dementia care and bed based reablement for hospital leavers, so no two days are ever the same.

Our nurses deal with clinical diagnosis and treatment. You will be responsible for the ‘whole patient experience’ and build relationship with the people in your care.  Our service users are at the heart of everything we do, and our sole aim is to give them the dignity, respect and independence that they deserve.

Full COVID-19 vaccination status will be required as a condition of employment.

Recent legislation now mandates that anyone working in a CQC registered care home, which includes all regulated services

in HCC Care,  and those visiting in a professional capacity, must be fully vaccinated (MHRA approved) by 11 November 2021.
