Salary Range: £21,778 - £24,476 per annum

We are currently looking to appoint to the role of Maintenance Supervisor in the above residential services. Our residential homes provide compassionate care and support for older people and individuals living with Dementia, in a friendly and welcoming environment. It is our aim to promote independence through the provision of opportunities that enhance an individual’s quality of life. Working alongside our residents and our operational teams you will support the Registered Manager by maintaining the building(s), grounds, furniture and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness, operational effectiveness and compliance with all statutory requirements as applicable to the setting, so that the service can run smoothly in a clean, safe and pleasant environment.

 

You will also be responsible for maintaining furniture, fixtures, and fittings with a responsibility for reporting any faults via our Term Maintenance Contractors and maintaining appropriate records. Be skilled in routine maintenance activities and have experience of staff supervision /recruitment as you will have line management responsibilities for the home’s housekeeping team. You will have a responsible role in relation to the required health and safety compliance checks of the service as determined locally by the management team.

 

You will lead and coordinate the delivery of essential maintenance and cleaning duties within the home maintaining the highest standards that ensure the environment is somewhere our service users are proud to call home. 

 

This role forms an integral part of the staff team and the successful candidate will need to comfortably interact with, and put residents at ease, showing empathy and an understanding of their needs.

 

You will be responsible for ordering & maintaining stock levels of domestic products.
