The Role:

 

Property Services is a Hampshire County Council in-house team of multi-disciplinary construction professionals and specialist support staff delivering a range of property functions ranging from new build, refurbishments, and extensions through to maintenance and compliance activities. It encompasses the HCC estate and those of our partner organisations and will include schools, offices, libraries, fire stations and police premises.

 

In this role, you will assist with the delivery of a strategy to manage facilities management (FM) services to buildings and users under the responsibility of property services (with particular focus to oversee the day to day service delivery of the operational Soft FM Service, including the shared FM services for Police partner estate in the east of the county, which includes police stations on the Isle of Wight.

 

Other duties include support for the change in the HCC flexible office environment for the Facilities Management Service, to develop best practices, processes and communication for the consistent delivery of the FM Service for the flexible corporate office accommodation in FM managed buildings and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioners' (OPCC) estate across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

 

You will ensure the work carried out by your teams meet the required quality and defined specification fulfilling safety, statutory, and compliance obligations. In addition, you will support and build a culture of strong management and compliance, through a collaborative approach.
