TempForce

TempForce is an employment scheme set up within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary and is similar to a high-street recruitment agency – but purely for the constabulary. The scheme is made up of a register of workers who are available to provide quality cover for temporary or short-term placements within the force. We’re looking for people from a wide range of backgrounds to join our team and be part of an organisation dedicated to preventing crime and protecting people. We’re also keen to hear from people who have specialist police skills or experience, gained during previous experience within the police service. Work is on a casual basis and can be for varying lengths of time and working hours, in a variety of different roles, for example, to cover holidays, maternity leave, volume of work or abstractions.
