Work location: County Hall, Oxford with close proximity to the M40. Hybrid Working arrangements to be discussed. 

Hours per week: 37 - we are open to discussions about flexible working 

Contract type: Permanent

About the role

 

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team in the capacity of SEND Strategic Early Intervention Manager, situated within our Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department. This position reports directly to the Head of SEND and is crucial in fostering improvements within this critical area of Education, and is instrumental in elevating service quality, advancing the outcomes of children, young people, and their families.

 

As SEND Strategic Early Intervention Manager, you will:

 

•    Lead and empower a team of 10 people in the SEND Strategic Early Intervention and Oxfordshire Schools Improvement (OXSIT) front line delivery teams.
•    Influence the strategic and operational development of the SEND service, to enhance the experience of children, young people, and their families.
•    Forge effective and collaborative working relationships across a range of partnerships, through a creative and innovative approach, to deliver key programmes of work.
•    Develop and drive system improvement across the SEND service and work collaboratively with the Head of SEND, focusing on the outcomes of culture change and positive stakeholder feedback.
•    Ensure high quality delivery of front-line services to children, families, schools, colleges and early years settings, through the leadership of managers in the SEND service.
