About Us:

Collaborate with residents and colleagues on a wide portfolio of vital contracts and projects.

At the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people and businesses at the heart of everything we do, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective and efficient. Committed to acting with openness, honesty, compassion and humility, we aim to listen and understand in a way that is respectful, encourages involvement and meets the needs of all our communities.

The Role:

Join us in this important, challenging role and you’ll be a key member of our Property Services team as you manage a portfolio of individual contracts and call off projects from our procured contractor and consultants frameworks. These sit within the current budget of around £50m (for the next three years) for the Capital, Cyclical and M&E works programmes.

From inception to final account, you’ll be responsible for between £5 – £15 million per year as you deliver building projects within the Council’s capital programme, and contribute to the development, management and monitoring of the projects, ensuring that delivery is on time, within budget and represents good value for money. The team prides itself on operating collaboratively with residents and being technical experts within their field. With a supportive, friendly culture and a motivating working environment, its members are committed to delivering great work and making a positive difference to the quality of peoples’ lives.
