Salary Range: £23,115 – £24,140 pro rata, per annum
Work Location: Local Hampshire Library  (Hybrid working can be discussed)
Hours per week: 20 - To be worked across Wednesday / Thursday / Friday

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established adult learning team within Hampshire Library Service. You will be responsible for providing administrative support and data entry for Adult Learning in Libraries.

You will work within the small Learning in Libraries team based across the county as well as working closely with branch staff and a bank of casual tutors. The post will be based in a local Hampshire library, with hybrid working by discussion. 

The team provides learning to help develop the skills, confidence, motivation and resilience of adults of different ages and backgrounds. As well as this, we aim to support progression towards formal learning or employment or improved health and wellbeing.

You should be passionate about lifelong learning and its role in developing strong and resilient communities.

We are looking for an experience administrative assistant who is a self-starter, motivated to work with a level of autonomy when working alone but able to work well with the wider team, tutors, learners and partners. You will need a sound working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to manage information within different computer systems (databases).

The role will require occasional travel to other areas of Hampshire for meetings and team days so access to a vehicle or a means of transportation are essential.
